i have purchased a number of mount adapters from the still35mm lens format to c-mount cameras, and have filmed several hundred feet using pentax, tamaron, and canon. on r16 the images were clear, but seems like telephoto images instead of the zoom lenses they were/are.  but the image quality was fine, however, did not mess around with dof or anythign else, was just trying to keep things in focus and expose the film correctly at that point in my short lived film career.  however, once i get my century charts, rest assued i will perform as many side by side tests with as many differant mount adapters as i cna get my hands one, as well as those respective lenses(i think i now have 12 differant mount adapters, some costing as little as $5.00!!).
