ARRI SR2

Second-generation Silent Reflex 16mm camera (1982), improving on the original 16SR (1975) with lower noise and refined electronics. Small, portable, multidirectional viewfinder that stays upright in any camera orientation. Crystal-controlled motor with quick-change coaxial magazine.

• Format: Std 16 (Super 16 on later variants)
• Shutter: 180° single-blade "half-moon" mirror, closed-position stop
• Lens mount: Arri bayonet
• Magazine: 400 ft (120 m) coaxial quick-change
• Noise: improved over 16SR's ~30 dB(A)
• Features: TTL-Si exposure metering option, pilottone/timecode support, rotating & pivoting viewfinder
