ARRI's first silent (self-blimped) 16mm production camera, released 1965. Built around the same spinning twin-blade "butterfly" mirror reflex shutter as the 16ST/16M, but fully sound-insulated for double- or single-system sync sound. Introduced the steel Arri bayonet lens mount. Designed for shoulder or tripod use with zoom lenses.
