Re: Eclair Cameras: Color Reversal Film

Exactly! I would then be able to use the same lenses on the Nikon as I do on
the 35mm camera. Right now I am leaning toward an Arri 2C converted to
Nikon, BUT then I can only use Nikon lenses, as they have to remove the face
to put on the Nikon lens mount. Has anyone use this?

raymond,

that is a good point. if that is the case, you should then consider
purchasing movie film stock that has been packaged on 35mm still camera film
rolls! this way, you will get an exact match!

-acl camera with nikon lens and 400' kodak 50d movie stock
-still 35mm camera with SAME nikon lens and 36 exposure of SAME kodak 50d
movie stock
use the same colorbar/slate on movie camera scenes, and on first
frame/exposure of roll of film, and bingo ... about as close a match as you
can get. correct? or am i way off base here?
