To address the self-installation of the kit, I would not try doing this 
on your own.  I have heard horror stories about people who tried and 
destroyed their cameras.  Even if it is a little too expensive, I would 
save up, and send your camera to Bernie O'Doherty in Boston

I have heard he installs the kits, and he will do an awesome job for you 
because he is a genius and worked for Eclair at quieting the camera.  I 
can highly recommend him because he just serviced my ACL and it purrs 
like a kitten!

I think Robert Latimer once said messing with the Eclair is about the 
closest you will get to hell in this lifetime.  

By the way, I see you won the auction for the new ACL so, 
congratulations!
