Re: Eclair Cameras: Zeiss 10-100 T2.0 Mark I vs. Mark II

But does anyone know what the
difference is between the Mark I and Mark II lenses? Is the optical
quality of the Mark II superior to the Mark I? Any input would be
appreciated. Thanks, Michael Welle

The difference between Zeiss zoom T2 Mk 1 and Mk2 is that the front lens
element is larger on Mk2. Mk1 have 80 mm front diameter and Mk2 87 mm.
Optically they are identical. On Mk1 the lens vignetting and you can get
dark corners with some focus length on close distance. Both have a fixed
front.
