Eclair Cameras: switar vs switar

Hello All
Anybody had the experience of upgrading/updating their Kern Switars?
I have an older 25mm 1.4 and I'm thinking of going to their 26mm Macro 
preset.
Is there a demonstrable difference between the two? Coatings, designs, 
etc?
