Re: Eclair ACL EXP ON/OFF switch

My ACL was also used at a TV station, but in the Ukraine. So they may very
well have came from the same batch???

honestly, it wouldn't surprise me...

Have you heard from anyone about AZ Spectrum?

i haven't. in looking at their site, though, i see that my motor is missing the knob part of the inching knob [or is it supposed to be this way?]. in mine, there's a spinning grooged 'wheel' where the protruding inching knob is on the az spectrum site's pictures. you can still turn it, but you need to lay your finger flat and rotate your whole hand around it. a little clumsy, but it works. i wonder now if i'm actually missing the knob.

my motor looks like a combination of the two topmost images on their site. the switch on top that switches the xtal between 24 and 25fps is recessed like the motor on the right, but the motor itself looks like the one on the left [shiny black, not matte]. but the area where the inching knob is on mine protrudes farther out than either of those images.

the S/N on the motor is 2848.

curious.
