About B/W film I now that Ilford is not longer making motion picture films.
A friend of mine, the Danish DOP Jan Weincke, made a film last year with
Ilford HP5 and had a lot of problems with the perforation. Small part of the
emulsion from around the perforation was coming of the film. I think Ilford
had old perf. machines. After that Ilford decided to stop the production of
motion picture films.
Fujis B/W film is very good, but a little slow, 80-100 ISO, but maybe the
best. ORWO have two B/W film, 100 and 400 ISO, and what I herd they are very
