Subject: Eclair ACL Video Assist
Hi Julian
Thanks for you input; I would like to know the source of a flickerfree assist
or a blackbox... I do not think the AZ is.

The camera I used the A-Z spectrum video assist on had a 144 degree shutter.
It did flicker. I'm not sure whether it was better or worse than the normal
shutter.
At one time, someone made a "black box" that made a "flickery" video assist
flicker free, but I'm not sure if they are still made, now that most new
video assists are flickerfree anyway.
Incidentally, I think the A-Z spectrum model is the same as the one George
at Optical Electro House installs.

Subject: Eclair ACL Super 16mm
Hi Mark or anyone
Do you have any experience with the following CINE NIKKOR 'C' mount lens's
and
S16... 1:1.8 f50mm and 1:1.2 f25mm.
Thanks
Phill
.... also is the flicker problem and video assists insurmountable, or does
your s16 shutter improve things?
