Eclair Cameras: TS-mount

Eric,

As far as I know, all Eclair ACL's have a TS mount.  In fact the HD-144 
kit that you bought includes a replacement flange for the one provided 
on your camera.  The flange's outer ring is the TS-mount interface.  
When you screw Les Bosher's Arri-B to TS mount adapter in here, you are 
using the outer ring of the flange, not the smaller C-mount that is 
located in the inner ring.  The TS-mount has much better tolerances than 
the C-mount.  In fact, I think that Visual Products sells a C to PL 
mount adapter (at least they advertise it as such) that I would 
personally steer clear of because it is better to purchase a TS to 
whatever adapter for the ACL as the TS ring is a much better mount.  I 
don't think you have anything to worry about with regards to the TS 
mount, Eric.  

By the way, I am in the same boat as you are.  I am having Mark's kit 
installed by Bernie at the present time.  He is very trustworthy and 
excellent to deal with.  He's got a great sense of humor, and is
