Eclair Cameras: question- viewer extension

Does anybody have any insight to a viewfinder extention for tripod work? 
Am also looking at buying a TC sound recorder, but am stuck.  Used to 
Nagra 4stc, but alot of people have the fostex TC DAT's (cheaper), and 
the other day A guy told me I shoud swith to disc recorder.  Where is 
the best place to place my money.  Budget and quality wise.
PS - viewfinder for ACL 2 with the kinoptik viewfinder.
