Re: Eclair ACL internal light meter

That's the idea, but you'd better match it to the meter reading of a
well-lit gray card filling the frame. Then learn when to ignore it as
the scene content changes but the lighting doesn't (when someone in a
white uniform walks into frame you'll get a big spike on your reading,
etc.)

Hello!

How accurate is the internal light meter of the ACL? I'm sure most people prefer a handheld meter, but the internal meter would make things easier for me as I'll mostly be doing documentary work.

On a related note, how exactly do I set the internal meter? Do I just

take a reading with my handheld meter and then match this to the internal meter by adjusting the camera until I have the middle diode

lit?

Thanks!

Kurt
