Hi Ian,
At a guess I'll bet it would cost a pretty penny if
it's possible at all.  There would be alot of custom
machining involved.  You might drop Les Bosher
(les@lesbosher.co.uk) a line and see what he thinks. 
He is the best glass man I know of and if anyone can
do it he can.  He would probably have to have one in
hand though to study the problem.  The solution may be
to build the aperture into the ACL lens mount itself. 
Of course it might not be feasible to have the
aperture behind the back element.

Thanks for the info.  It sounds promising.  An
inexpensive, wide, S16 zoom would be sweet.
