Thanks for the heads-up, Chris. I've been thinking about it, and given
my present finances I'll have to pass on your camera package for now.
The 10-100 is a great temptation, but I have to remind myself that I
don't even have a camera to put it on at present. It would have to be a
"can't pass it up" deal for me to buy it. I do intend to acquire an ACL
eventually, though.
I'm actually quite happy with my CP16R, and I feel like I'm too heavily
invested in the system (zooms, six mags, three chargers, an expensive
Nikon mount adapter) to just get rid of it. In fact, it needs only the
Super-16 mod to be everything I need, and I have someone standing by to
do that.
The CP is like a Chevy pick-up while the ACL is a breezy European sports
car. To be honest, most of the time I'd prefer the little sports car to
the clunky pick-up, but it gets the job done and doesn't break. The
Aaton, on the other hand, is a Mercedes, exuding in equal parts elegant
design and superb engineering (and congrats on that).
