... Les is an ACL tech of many years standing; he does not like the idea of reducing the amount of light available. His conversion contains a mod to resolve this potential problem; there are Super16 ACLS out there with no mod to the 175' shutter... these I gather are little problem with PAL but cause some problems with certain lighting in NTSC....
