PS - Everything looks great on the $10,000 monitors in the telecine bays at 
Fotokem on Betacam.  But then start losing an analog generation (or 2) to get 
to VHS --- the sharper image holds up better; the lesser image falls apart 
faster.  The "telecine suite" test is really misleading ... and domestic TVs are 
not as sharp, so that every extra bit of sharpmess in the tape will make a real 
difference by the time your film is viewed in the real world. Another 2 cents
