Re: Eclair Cameras: AZ Spectrum video assist, preliminary

Hello,

A note about the AGC/CCD Iris 3 position switch on the AZ Spectrum video assist:

When you set the switch to the 2nd position, the CCD Iris function is turned ON and the CCD shutter speed is adjusted automatically, based on the amount of light allowed to enter, ensuring the appropriate level of video signal. In the 1st and 3rd positions the CCD shutter speed is 1/60s. If you switch from the 1st or 3rd positions to the 2nd position, please wait 2 sec. in order to observe changes in the video image. If the video monitor is connected to the BNC video output make sure that its video input is terminated at 75 ohms. If you connect the monitor and recorder or two monitors to the BNC video output (by using BNC T) make sure that only one device terminates at 75 ohms; the video input of the second device should be in high impedance. Use the shortest possible video cable between the video assist and the monitor in order to obtain the best image quality.

Best regards,
Andrew Zorawski
