how long have you been using your acl? how long have you been shooting film? one day, all products that are manufactured will have an ID that includes a complete 3 dimensional replication of the item. this way, when it has long come and gone as it relates to its market run, those who end up with the item second, third, and fourth hand will be able to use the earthID to simply enter it into their computer and select the part they need replaced or repaired. any applicable earthID that is attached to that item, like a manufacturer, or a custom prototyping house, or a craftsman that has a mill or some molds or whatever, will get an alert that this person located in this particular part of the world needs this exact part for this exact item, here are the digital specs compatable with your system, with all systems. then, that company or person who has machines will bascially need to press yes or no, and make the part accordingly. and traditional 123 anywhere street addresses
will be replaced with exact GPadreSses. everyone will be part of a relational space and time indexing system where you will one day be able to turn on the tv and select what 'era' you would prefer to watch, instead of simply the genre or brand type of cable chanel(mtv, etc.). same wth radio, you will be able to slide the timeline back to 1692 and get the songs and dj's of the time. instead of parents taking their kids to kmart for the typical canvas portrates, they will take them them in for the lifeline imaging collection, that will literally measure their entire body and replicate it according each time. so if you child goes in once a month for the next 20 years, you will literally be able to slide the timeline(the timeline tool will be as standard one day as the browse button) at whatever speed, or build a movie, and whatch your child, or the child wathc himself grow in front of his own eyes. but even more neat, is that our great great grandchildren will be able to ou
r children, that would be long dead by that point, at many points of their life, as they were. because everything is based on shapes and colors, and because our technologies are now able to facilitate such dynamic creative abilities, the shift will move from replacing the last technology with the next to supporting the last technology for preservation purposes so that in a 1000 years from now, anything that had ever been made, could easily be made again without having to completely reinvent the process. an hd-144 would be indexed, and if one wanted ot make it 100 years from now, it will be a piece of cake. this is a huge problem, as you had referenced it in your last email as it relates to burning bridges and citting yourself off from resourses which serve as bottlenecks in such aging technologies like these eclair cameras. its too bad we will only live to see the early stages of this, where people are indexing items of old made in the past 100 years, and whil be adapting
the new manufacturing standards for the current time. but one day, any idea that is manfested will be dumped into a local repository, and all the other local repositories around the world will update any none real time information periodically during the day, so no matter where you are located, you will most likely never have to leave your own local network to access the rest of the world's information. and for things things are are realtime, like conversations, money transfers, and any other realtime exchange/allocation/placement/etc. will travel with you in relational space and time. clearly the wheel has served the ame purpose for many years, and will most likely continue to serve the same purpose for many years to come. if folks like divinci had access to the little peruvian woman and her lightweight, tightly woven materials way back when, flight would have occured much sooner then it did. and so that will continue to apply itself today and tomorrow to our advanceme
nts. but for the time being, the masses are still stuck trying to effectively communicate or agree on a common ground that eliminates the cause and effect of such things that lead to 'burned bridges' and the like. until then, we are forced to ether figure things out on our own, like i am having to do with my cameras, or depend on other people that have the knowledge, but perhaps their premium is more then some can pay, or want to pay. same with their sales price.

You'll need to talk to Visual Products. These days, almost everything
made by Eclair is used. You came across a very rare find with that new
ACL that you bought. It's unlikely you'll find something anywhere near
that condition, although it probably doesn't make that big a difference
as long as you get it checked by a competent technician. See I didn't
mention any names:)
I'll save the philosophy for the blue book they hand out at mid-terms.
