Eclair Cameras: Questions about ACL and NPR

Greetings everyone,

Whilst looking around for some S16mm camera I am wondering what the major
differences are between the ACL and NPR.   There are quite some accessories
available for both, quite some servicing shops around as well; so why am I having the
impression that the ACL is more popular than the NPR?  Just because the ACL is more
recent and slightly smaller?
Don't want to pick a quarrel here, but just trying to get an idea.  Used to work with a
Aaton XTR and Arri SR3 and have little experience of ACL but a while ago.
