RE: Eclair ACL New kid on the block ...

Well the Langfilm ACL has arrived and it is a beauty; for the moment anyway I feel like a child again! As luck would have it I am buying an R16 at a very good price, this has an extra Ang 17-68 zoom; also a nikon f mount adaptor with a Cine nikon 50mm and a 25mm ...
I intend converting it to S16; please don't call me foolhardy, I would like to do it myself. I am based in Vancouver Canada, the third largest production center in North America ( yes it has overtaken Toronto) and I have a good technical background. It is about time someone here specialised in the ACL; I concentrate on the creative side these days, the ACL is one of my few technical interests remaining.
Perhaps once I have checked the camera out completely, shot film and set things up with Mark; anyone interested could talk me through it ... I am a patient carefull man. Appart from that I am in the market for a flicker free colour Video assist ie: Azspectrum.
