Eclair ACL DAT and MD

Kurt,

I've got a D7 and I can't say I've ever experienced any problem with the 
pre-amp.  However, I originally tried MD and the results were awful.  The 
pre-amp was just non stop hiss and the quality wasn't even close to DAT. 
This was a few years ago, so hopefully MD recorders have changed.  But the 
D7 will let you record on either left or right channels, at 2 diferent 
frequencies and has a mic attenuator as well as a digital output.  How many 
MD recorders have that?
